No other name

Today a page from my art journal - one of my earlier attempts. I am having fun - and a challenge - trying to incorporate scripture into these drawings. I thought the hearts were very apropos with this verse. I think this was also the first time I added color. I know I have a long way to go, but I'm enjoying the journey!

  1. Hi Alice, thanks for visiting my blog. Regarding Lori's class, it depends on what you're looking for. I took Lori's class also. She's very sweet. Her class focuses on one script. She gives you one alphabet to practice along with some tips for spacing, making thicks and thins, etc. The script is very similar to that which was taught in grade school (depending on how old you are). She also gives a couple of projects. On the other hand, the class I'm currently in, Letter Love 101 with Joanne Sharpe, is focused on lettering several different alphabets along with lots of projects. It's a pretty active class. I hope this has helped you with a decision. Feel free to ask more questions, if you wish. By the way, I like your journal page too. Linda E.
